Recently took delivery on a new Mercedes. Our experience at this dealership was very good. Professional, yet personable and friendly sales folks(Jamie was ours). We were directed with ease to the vehicle that best suited us. We took our time in making this decision and they were very patient with us along the way. The Sales Manager Marc even let me test drive his demo though he knew we were not looking for an SUV. Right down to Cali helping us with some of the post delivery electronic functions, we are very favorably impressed with these folks. Highly recommended.
One of the workers there were giving me a bad vibe from the moment I walked up on the lot. I've introduced myself and was happy to be there. but the man who worked there was like a slight bit racist towards me. He didn't wanted to shake my hand, he did not intend to inform me his name or didn't want to provide me no information on the vehicle I was interested in. I was interested in the s-class coupe. When I asked him about the s class coupe, he looked at me and said "Are you going to buy it? I don't want to show and you not leaving here without or paying for it." Make it worse he flat out said "Do you have the funds to buy it? If not I'm wasting his time." Like seriously. Who says that to a potential buyer customer? Like that gave me a racism vibe off towards me and I don't like the fact how I was treated. Very horrible on the company end. Especially Mercedes Benz franchise. I'm sure Mercedes Benz would not appreciate any co-worker mistreat a customer like that or tolerate racism.
Out of town and our left headlight went out. Called Greg in service see if their schedule could work in replacing the bulb. He gave me an afternoon appointment. Upon arrival I was greeted and Greg showed me to the waiting area....said it would be about half hour. When done, Greg escorted me to the cashier and then to my car, which I did not recognize, as his team completely washed it. It is a 2009 and people still ask if it is new. Great service and hospitable staff.
Overall not a very happy experience at Hilton Head.
Just for comparison purposes I test drove a certified GL 450 at my Charlotte dealership and everything was top notch, new tires, strong brakes, all accessories in place.
Looking for a Van then you want to go see Brett and learn how affordable and competitive commercial vans can be. He is knowledgeable and caring.
Very bad experience after purchasing a CPO GL450 vehicle. A lot of accessories were missing like remotes for rear entertainment system, cargo cover. One of the headsets was broken and had to be replaced at my local Charlotte dealership. Next was the vibration issue and I was told by me local dealership that the tires had to be replaced. This was all within a month of purchase. Now the brakes are squealing a little and I will not be surprised if I am asked to replace the brake pads.
