Hard to find help when I did find help they went the other way. The next told be about the app on my phone I could down load so they can be replaced. Could not find what I was looking for went to help desk ok no help there walked out went to Lowes found help and product cheeper plus used the discount that home depo no longer offers by the way. Annoyed yes.
My issues are with the tool rental dept. The last two times I rented equipment, the equipment was defective. Their equipment quality control is embarrassing, to say the least. It's so frustrating getting to the customers house only to find out they rented you a defective product. The staff is polite, they will even give you a replacement when you return the defective one. The staff today even said they would reset my time on the replacement equipment. I ask them since my time is valuable could they deliver another one, answer NO, Then I ask them because of my huge inconvenience; travel time, lost production time, and aggravation could they adjust the price. Answer NO. The customer service end of this stores rental dept is well below the standards when dealing with professionals that depend on quality and service.
I needed to thatch My Front Yard And The Home Depot Was The Only Rental Place Open On Saturday with The Machine To Do So . IDid A Great Job and Real Fast , Sure Beats Use in the Thatchin Rack . It Would Have Taken A Month . Thanks Home Depot .
This is the best home improvement store I've ever been to. I used to be a "Lowes guy", but they've turned me around. I bought my first home about a year ago, and I don't want to guess how much I've spent here, but they're great; clean store, very knowledgeable and friendly. Even when I have returns, it's never an issue. I highly recommend this store. If someone from corporate Home Depot reads this, THIS STORE NEEDS TO BE YOUR CORPORATE MODEL! I can't put my finger on why they're so good, I think they have good management and their employees buy into their store. The end result is an excellent shopping experience.
Worst customer service ever. Asked 3 people for help finding an item. Was told they didn't have it. Went straight home and ordered it online only to be told there were 350 of them in stock at the store I just left. Now I'm here picking it up and have been waiting over 30 minutes for someone to bring it to me. Really? Lowe's is right across the street. I'm done.
