Love Panera but they changed the salads. Prefer spring mix without kale in most salads. If people want kale added, let it be a choice. Romaine lettuce instead of spring mix is not the same, but it appears to be the only choice unless you are willing to endure the kale thing...... and frequently kale makes up most of the salad....too much!!! Otherwise Panera is the best.
The line moved pretty fast for lunch time. Service was good but not personal. I had the soup in the bread bowl. Decent. I liked the outdoor seating.
I really wish this place would get it together. I love Panera food, but they seem to have very poor staff/management because every time I go there is a problem with my order. On my most recent visit, I ordered the last ham and swiss souffle that they had, but because the girl at the checkout forgot to box it up, she sold it to someone else who came after me! So infuriating!! They didn't offer to give me my money back or anything. The time before that, they forgot to put meat and toppings on my husband's sandwich (just some melted cheese and bread)...didn't realize until we drove the 30 minutes home so couldn't go back. It's a $7 sandwich! Just really incompetent. They need some major staff changes to be at the level they need to be to charge what they do for food.
Today they gave me a free pastry. So kind?
Great Panera. I always have to spend hours here waiting for my wife at the outlets. God bless their internet.
